Transfer Electives Course List including the
Universal Certificate for General Studies electives
Transfer Electives Course List for the AS in Science and the AA in Liberal Arts Degrees.
The courses listed below will satisfy the graduation requirement for either the Approved Transfer Electives or the UCGS Approved Transfer Electives in the Science and Liberal Arts degrees and the majors within these degrees. In each degree or major, some approved transfer electives are required to be Uniform Certificate of General Studies (UCGS) electives. These are identified in the degree curriculum descriptions.
*UCGS courses are marked with an asterisk.
NOTE: Some of these courses cannot transfer to every four-year college or university. Before selecting transfer electives, students should do the following:
- Consult the transfer guides of prospective colleges and universities. Transfer information for many colleges/universities is available on the RCC website.
- Contact prospective colleges/universities to inquire about the transferability of particular courses.
- Consult with your faculty advisor.
Approved Transfer Electives
Courses which meet the APPROVED TRANSFER ELECTIVES requirement for the AS in Science and the AA in Liberal Arts degrees: Administration of Justice
Health
HLT courses such as HLT 143 , which lack a personal wellness component, are NOT approved transfer electives Information Systems Technology

If a student has taken a course, wishes to take a course, or transferred a course from another college that is not on this list, you must consult with your faculty advisor to find out if that course can be applied to your AS in Science and the AA in Liberal Arts degree program. |
