EMS 113 - Emergency Medical Technician-Basic II

Lecture: 2 hours Laboratory: 2 hours Total: 4 hours per week

Continues preparation of student for certification as a Virginia and/or National Registry EMT-Ba-sic. Includes all aspects of pre-hospital basic life support as defined by the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services curriculum for Emergency Medicine Technician Basic.

An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.

(Course fees do not apply to dual enrollment CTE courses taught at local high schools).
