NSG 130 - Professional Nursing Concepts

Introduces the role of the professional nurse and fundamental concepts in professional development. Focuses on professional identity, legal/ethical issues and contemporary trends in professional nursing.

An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.

(Course fees do not apply to dual enrollment CTE courses taught at local high schools).

Prerequisite(s): BIO 141  or BIO 231  or NAS 161  .
