Mobile Integrated Healthcare/Community Paramedicine

Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) and Community Paramedicine (CP) Programs are increasing in number to provide care for patients outside of the hospital and clinical setting. These programs provide support for chronic disease management and provide connections with primary care providers, mental health services, and substance abuse services. Upon successful completion of the MIH/CP Course, students will receive a certificate of completion, providing them with greater employment opportunities in this growing and advancing field. Students will also be prepared to take the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) to become a Certified Community Paramedic.
